Earlier today, Data Blue announced that the company has acquired Atlanta-based cloud expertise and consulting firm, Williams & Garcia.

This news comes closely on the heels of the announcement that Data Blue acquired LPS Integration, an IT solutions and services VAR out of Nashville, TN. The addition of the Williams & Garcia team enhances the synergy between Data Blue and LPS while building upon the existing cloud platform offerings and capabilities.

Williams & Garcia brings a combined 45+ years of consulting experience for high end IT solutions. The team has been working with Data Blue for some time now on customer engagements, helping Data Blue clients adopt transformative IT solutions for their business. Now that both companies are fully integrated, Data Blue clients can expect even more in-depth, consultative engagements and more agile, accessible solutions.

Atlanta, GA – January 27, 2017 – Data Blue, a provider of customized storage, backup, cloud architecture and server virtualization solutions, and a portfolio company of The Gores Group and Platinum Equity, today announced that it has acquired LPS Integration, a Value Added Reseller (“VAR”) specializing in cloud infrastructure, networking, security and storage architecture. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, LPS Integration designs custom cloud solutions, installs and configures data center hardware and software, and provides managed services. Founded in 2002, LPS Integration has built the largest cloud infrastructure VAR in Tennessee by consistently delivering high‐ quality services to its customers throughout the Southeast. LPS Integration also has a presence in Knoxville, Memphis, Birmingham and  Louisville.

Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.

Data Blue helps New Story ring the NASDAQ Opening Bell

Founded only 8 months ago, Data Blue was the first investor in their vision for building homes in Haiti. Tuesday, September 8th marked the 100th day of the campaign that was launched to fund “100 homes in 100 days” which was achieved.
